Remove terminfo.db as it's now embedded in libterminfo.

Use the rescue terminfo.db in our images instead of termcap.

34 different termcap subsets, plus a couple of ports still using
the full termcap distfile. In an attempt to reduce the madness
switch everyone (except the i386 cd install which does its own
thing) to the same (under 8K) termcap subset:

Change ramdisks from dhclient to dhcpcd and add corresponding glue to
sysinst. For amd64, the crunchgen binary shrinks by 150KB uncompresssed,
60KB compressed.

Use the cutdown distrib/common/services and distrib/common/protocols
rather than the full fat etc versions

Since /etc/services has gotten rather large, use a minimal one for install
kernels. (mount_nfs is notably the only binary that doesn't gracefully deal
with the lack of an /etc/services file, it appears.)

Add French, German and Polish sysinstmsgs to all ramdisks that include sysinst
expect those where at least one of the language variants isn't built,
and those that are known not to have enough space (i386 ramdisk-tiny).
Files added to list.sysinst, list.sysinst.en is used when these files
cannot be added.
This might hit a size limit on another build - but I have no (sane) way of
testing it.

- move guts of distrib/Makefile.inc to distrib/common/Makefile.distrib
(fixes problem caused by implicit include of ../Makefile.inc in certain

Set DBG=-Os for libhack.

ensure all sysinst-using makefs generated images have at least 15 inodes free,
and be consistent how MAKEFS_FLAGS is defined.

- Be consistent how libhack is used: If extra HACKOBJS (e.g., gethost.o) are
required, define them before pulling in libhack/Makefile.inc so that the
dependencies work correctly.
- Other minor cleanups

cosmetic reorg

Disable libhack's gethost.o (replacement gethostby{name,addr}()) by default,
as they only support reading /etc/hosts, and its the "least useful" of
the libhack routines. Add gethost.o back to Really Small media which
appears to need the space savings.

add missing IMAGEDEPEND

Switch to the new common ramdisk build infrastructure.

Fix from Takeshi Shibagaki (ie9t-sbgk@asahi-net.or.jp):
(effect of) fixed a bug when it makes install image.
(reason for) We cannot apply to newfs no disklabel device, so must
write temporary disklabel. refer to i386.

Add MTREE?= to add Makefiles and use when running mtree

Use symbol MTREECONF instead of MTREE to refer configuration file
to avoid conflicts. Pointed out by chs@netbsd.org.

Change all ocurrences of "crunchgen" to ${CRUNCHGEN}

Use

instead of

Expand NOTESOBJDIR only once.

use bsd.kernobj.mk to tell us KERNOBJDIR for compiled kernels.

Make the notes reachover more robust, and only build INSTALL.more, since
that's the only one we use.

Changes to mac68k instkernel

- - Don't descend into miniroot. This permits "make clean" and "make obj"
from within /usr/src/distrib to succeed.
- - Don't strip the install kernel--I need this to boot.
- - Add release target, for use by "make release" in top level src dir.
- - Ramdisk now builds in "notes" dir before reaching into it.
- - Ramdisk unconfigures vnd when make is interrupted, by Ctl-C, for example.
It would be nice to unconfigure the vnd device if the make fails for any
reason, but I can't figure out how to do that.
