 1.10 16-Aug-2020  isaki Replace boot_ustar with xxboot_ustarfs.
The old boot_ustar had many hard coding and was small(<1KB).
The new xxboot_ustarfs is a part of integrated larger(<8KB) xxboot.
We had to maintain three similar but not the same bootloaders, but
now we have two!
 1.9 05-Aug-2014  apb Use ${TOOL_GZIP_N} instead of ${TOOL_GZIP} -n, and similarly
use ${TOOL_GZIP_N} -9 instead of ${TOOL_GZIP} -9n, etc.

This will pass -nT instead of just -n if the gzip program is
actually pigz.
 1.8 27-Jan-2014  apb branches: 1.8.2;
Use ${TOOL_GZIP} instead of just gzip in all Makefiles
outside */dist/* subdirectories.

When USE_PIGZGZIP=yes, bsd.own.mk sets TOOL_GZIP=${TOOL_PIGZ},
so there's no need to test USE_PIGZGZIP in these Makefiles.
 1.7 03-Apr-2009  perry branches: 1.7.6; 1.7.12;
Consistently use gzip with the -n flag so dates are not embedded.

Not tested on all platforms.
 1.6 18-Aug-2002  isaki branches: 1.6.32; 1.6.42;
Kernel must be gzipped to boot.
Correct CLEANFILES.

 1.5 19-May-2002  isaki branches: 1.5.2;
Put secondary boot loader correctly.
patch from Izumi Tsutsui <tsutsui@ceres.dti.ne.jp>
 1.4 13-May-2002  lukem - reorganise to be more consistent with other distrib/* directories
(no need for a "common" subdir which contains stuff only really
referenced by one other directory)
- use Makefile.tarfloppy instead of local code to build floppies
- use .WAIT in the top-level Makefile appropriately
- install inst.fs directly from ramdisk/Makefile rather than providing
separate inst/Makefile
 1.3 07-May-2002  isaki Rewrite with MI distrib. based on Minoura-san's work.
it makes x68k port cross buildable.
 1.2 07-Dec-2001  minoura Overhaul installation system.
- Use new boot system. Bootfloppies now use ustarfs.
- Split instkernel.* directory from bootfloppy.*.
- Adjust ramdisk size.
- others.
2-floppy installation system cannot be compiled due to size bloat.
Disabled temporarily (?).
 1.1 28-Nov-2000  minoura branches: 1.1.2;
Reorganize (again) the installation system.
- Remove historical `script' installer, which was provided for
4MB RAM systems.
- Instead we provide `floppy-root' installer, which is composed
of 2 floppies just like the installation system used in the netbsd-1-2
days; one floppy contains (GENERIC) kernel and the other contains
the miniroot.
- The miniroots for both `ramdisk-root' installation system and
`floppy-root' installation system are identical.
 1.1.2.2 15-Dec-2000  he Pull up revision 1.1 (new, requested by minoura):
Reorganize installation system by removing the old script based
installer, provided for 4M systems. Instead we provide
``floppy-root'' 2-floppy installer.
 1.1.2.1 28-Nov-2000  he file Makefile was added on branch netbsd-1-5 on 2000-12-15 05:33:07 +0000
 1.5.2.1 19-Aug-2002  lukem Pull up revision 1.6 (requested by isaki in ticket #698):
Kernel must be gzipped to boot.
Correct CLEANFILES.
