file flags, only system ones. Restrict those to the superuser. Before

As Masao Uebayashi pointed to me, UFS_EXTATTR_AUTOSTART, LFS_EXTATTR_AUTOSTART
and UFS_EXTATTR_AUTOCREATE are not used anywhere in the code. Remove them
as they have been obsolete for a long time:
UFS_EXTATTR_AUTOSTART was replaced by mount -o extattr
LFS_EXTATTR_AUTOSTART was created to match obsolete UFS_EXTATTR_AUTOSTART
UFS_EXTATTR_AUTOCREATE was replaced by sysctl vfs.ffs.extattr_autocreate

Support for UFS1 extended attributes in GENERIC and GENERIC-like kernels

This change just brings UFS1 extended attribute *support* in the kernel,
extended attributes are not enabled unless three conditions are met:
1) filesystem is UFS1 (newfs -O1)
2) .attribute/system and .attribute/user directories are created at fs root
3) filesystem is mounted with -o extattr

Some GENERIC kernels are obviously memory constrained, the extended
attributes options were not enabled for them, but just added commented out.
(kernel were considered memory constrained if QUOTA option was disabled)

Systematize (and in many cases, fix) the comments on options COMPAT_NN.

There are quite a few configs that are missing some COMPAT_NN options
in ways that don't make sense; this should probably get cleaned up
too, but for the time being I've not added or removed anything.

Add "options COMPAT_70" to all kernel configuration files that

to store disk quota usage and limits, integrated with ffs

Merge the ppcoea-renovation branch to HEAD.

This branch was a major cleanup and rototill of many of the various OEA
cpu based PPC ports that focused on sharing as much code as possible

every tree. Additionally there is a new PIC system that unifies the
interface to interrupt code for all different OEA ppc arches. The work
for this branch was done by a variety of people, too long to list here.

Initial addition of tmpfs, an efficient memory file-system. This project
was developed as part of Google's Summer of Code 2005 program. This
change adds the kernel code, the mount_tmpfs utility, a regression test
suite and does all other related changes to integrate these.

The file-system is still *experimental*. Therefore, it is disabled by
default in all kernels. However, as typically done, a commented-out
entry is added in them to ease its setup.

Note that I haven't commited the required mountd(8) changes to be able
to export tmpfs file-systems because NFS support is still very unstable
and because, before enabling it, I'd like to do some other changes.

Add the INCLUDE_CONFIG_FILE option to all config files. In config
files that are generic (ie, GENERIC, GENERICSBC, GENERIC32, ALL, or
ALPHA), it is uncommented.

Add commented-out USERCONF option. Mainly useful for install media
and can be optionally enabled based on miniroot and ramdisk size

Switch mac68k to ELF. Now the default executable binaries are ELF.

Merge the ppcoea-renovation branch to HEAD.

This branch was a major cleanup and rototill of many of the various OEA

Introduce a flag to disable PDMA when writing.

The use of pdma when writing would always cause a panic on my Powerbook 160,
possibly others as well.

Add explanation for the sbc flags to the kernel configurations that
use the sbc 53c80 driver. Until now, this information has lived in the
source code, only; neither sbc nor ncrscsi have a man page.

less. It needs some help to get to be -current. Support for minimal

SMALLRAM is an effective replacement for the SPOT and MYSTERY configs,
which are IIcx and IIx machines with not much RAM, respectively.

The PUMA config is configured somewhat optimally for one of Allen's
Quadras but doesn't do anything special as compared to SMALLRAM.

Add a new configuration for testing NFS. Same options as GENERIC, with
the addition of NFSSERVER and NFSCLIENT.

Clean up deleted files.

This also allows us to compile with -m68030 iff M68020 isn't specified

Set timezone to 0. The booter's GMT bias should be used, instead.

Nuke FPCOPROC and add FPU_EMULATE to GENERIC.

PETE was pretty useless; SPOT is my own machine, and will better
reflect the status of sbc driver configuration.

Identical to GENERIC, but uses the `sbc' driver.

SMALLRAM is an effective replacement for the SPOT and MYSTERY configs,
which are IIcx and IIx machines with not much RAM, respectively.

The PUMA config is configured somewhat optimally for one of Allen's
Quadras but doesn't do anything special as compared to SMALLRAM.

Add the INCLUDE_CONFIG_FILE option to all config files. In config
files that are generic (ie, GENERIC, GENERICSBC, GENERIC32, ALL, or
ALPHA), it is uncommented.

Add commented-out USERCONF option. Mainly useful for install media
and can be optionally enabled based on miniroot and ramdisk size
requirements.
