      1 This package contains manual page sources for the groff family of text
      2 formatters. The online manual pages for groff contain information about
      3 the following groff-related utilities:

      5 	grog - grog reads files and guesses which of the groff(1) options
      6 	-e, -man, -me, -mm, -ms, -p, -s, and -t are  required  for
      7 	printing  files, and  prints  the groff command including those
      8 	options on the standard output;
      9 
     10 	troff - describes the GNU version of troff, which is part of the
     11 	groff document formatting  system;
     12 
     13 	tbl - tbl compiles  descriptions  of tables embedded within troff
     14 	input files into commands that are understood  by  troff;
     15 
     16 	pic - pic compiles  descriptions  of  pictures embedded within
     17 	troff or TeX input files into commands that are understood  by
     18 	TeX or  troff;

     20 	eqn - compiles descriptions  of  equations  embedded  within  troff
     21 	input files  into  commands that are understood by troff
     22 
     23 	soelim - eliminate .so directives from nroff input

     25 	refer - preprocess bibliographic references for groff

     27 	grops - translates the output of GNU  troff  to  PostScript

     29 	grodvi - convert groff output to TeX dvi format

     31 	grotty - translates  the  output  of  GNU troff into a form
