The argument can either be an .Xr ioctl 2 symbolic name or the ioctl value.

p The options are as follows: l -tag -width 12n t Fl e Ar emulation If an emulation of a process is unknown, interpret system call maps assuming the named emulation instead of default "netbsd". t Fl f Ar format The argument is a .Xr printf 3 style format string that allows customization of .Nm ioctlprint Ap s output.

p The following conversion characters can be used: l -tag -width 9n t %E Symbolic decoded ioctl string. t %e Decoded ioctl string with hex values. t %n Descriptive ioctl operation name. t %x Hexadecimal ioctl number. t %o Octal ioctl number. t %d or %i Decimal ioctl number. .El
