- Change selremove_knote() from returning void to bool, and return
true if the last knote was removed and there are no more knotes
on the selinfo.
- Use this new return value in filt_sordetach(), filt_sowdetach(),
filt_fifordetach(), and filt_fifowdetach() to know when to clear
SB_KOTE without having to know select/kqueue implementation details.

Add sel{record,remove}_knote(), so hide some of the details surrounding
knote / kevent registration in the selinfo structure.

Remove pollsock(). Since it took only a single socket, it was essentially
a complicated way to call soreceive() with a sb_timeo. The only user
(netsmb) already did that anyway, so just had to delete the call to
pollsock().

Commit the "per-CPU" select patch. This is the result of much work and
testing by rmind@ and myself.

Which approach to use is still being discussed, but I would like to get
this out of my working tree. If we decide to use a different approach
there is no problem with revisiting this.

Back out the lwp/ktrace changes. They contained a lot of colateral damage,
and need to be examined and discussed more.

Pass lwp pointers throughtout the kernel, as required, so that the lwpid can
be inserted into ktrace records. The general change has been to replace
"struct proc *" with "struct lwp *" in various function prototypes, pass
the lwp through and use l_proc to get the process pointer when needed.

Bump the kernel rev up to 1.6V

ktrace ioctl data buffers
Optimise structure layout for 'struct selinfo' to avoid padding on 64bit
systems. Use an entire variable for the 'collision' flag for efficiency.

change fields of struct selinfo from si_ to sel_ so that the don't conflict
with siginfo members.

merge kqueue branch into -current

kqueue provides a stateful and efficient event notification framework
currently supported events include socket, file, directory, fifo,
pipe, tty and device changes, and monitoring of processes and signals

kqueue is supported by all writable filesystems in NetBSD tree
(with exception of Coda) and all device drivers supporting poll(2)
