Don't touch an SP without a reference to it
unify processing to check nesting count for some tunnel protocols.
add ipsec(4) interface, which is used for route-based VPN.
man and ATF are added later, please see man for details.
reviewed by christos@n.o, joerg@n.o and ozaki-r@n.o, thanks.
https://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-net/2017/12/18/msg006557.html
ipsec(4) interface supports rump now.
add ipsec(4) interface ATF.
add ipsec(4) interface man as ipsecif.4.
add ipsec(4) interface to amd64/GENERIC and amd64/ALL configs.
apply in{,6}_tunnel_validate() to gif(4).
Spell IPsec that way. Simplify macro usage. Sort SEE ALSO. Bump
date for previous.
Improve wording and macro use.
Some parts are not clear to me, so someone with knowledge of ipsecif(4)
should improve this some more.
Improve ipsecif.4. Default port ipsec(4) NAT-T is tested now.
pointed out by wiz@n.o and suggested by ozaki-r@n.o, thanks.
Change the prefix of test names to ipsecif_ to distinguish from tests for ipsec(4)
New sentence, new line. Remove empty macro.
Fix PR kern/52920. Pointed out by David Binderman, thanks.
Improve wording, and put a new drawing, from me and Kengo Nakahara.
apply a little more #ifdef INET/INET6. fixes !INET6 builds.

Remove obsolete NULL checks

Simplify bridge_rtnode_insert (NFC)

bridge: use pslist(9) for rtlist and rthash

The change fixes race conditions on list operations. One example is that a
reader may see invalid pointers on a looking item in a list due to lack of
membar_producer.

Add a test that checks if brconfig flush surely removes all entries

Get rid of a unnecessary semicolon

Fix panic() on opening fd(4), caused by a wrong pointer passed to memset().
I'm not sure why this 18 year old bug didn't cause problem before
(at least my old 5.99.23 kernel worked), but probably it's triggered
by new gcc 4.8 which might do more aggressive memory allocation.
The problem is found by Nobuyoshi Sato on trying eject(1) against fd(4).
Should be pulled up to netbsd-7.
Sync with sparc/dev/fd.c:1.155.

Fix panic() on opening fd(4), caused by a wrong pointer passed to memset().
Note sun3 still uses gcc 4.5.4 but also panicked by this old bug,
so probably this problem was triggered by not gcc 4.8 but struct disk
changes (struct disk_geom was added in <sys/disk.h> rev 1.58),
which increased sizeof(struct fd_softc) from 248 bytes to 296 bytes.
(i.e. now struct fd_softc could be allocated in a different pool block,
probably near the wrong pointer of the struct disklabel)
Anyway, this fix should be pullued up to netbsd-7.
(probably I'm the only user of floppy on sun3 though)

Fix panic() on opening fd(4), caused by a wrong pointer passed to memset().
I'm not sure why this 18 year old bug didn't cause problem before
(at least my old 5.99.23 kernel worked), but probably it's triggered
by new gcc 4.8 which might do more aggressive memory allocation.
The problem is found by Nobuyoshi Sato on trying eject(1) against fd(4).
Should be pulled up to netbsd-7.
Sync with sparc/dev/fd.c rev 1.155.

Apply a set of patches from Frank Wille to make the genfb attachment work
better on ofppc. In doing so, we also move a few functions around in
macppc and the generic ofw powerpc stuff to allow better sharing of code.
Also, introduce a model_init function.

move ofb_cons.c from macppc/dev to powerpc/oea and rename it to rascons.
This gets rid of some naming confusion, and makes it OFW-MI rather than
macppc specific.

1.150.20.2 Wed May 14 01:34:59 UTC 2008 wrstuden Per discussion with ad, remove most of the #include <sys/sa.h> lines
as they were including sa.h just for the type(s) needed for syscallargs.h.

Instead, create a new file, sys/satypes.h, which contains just the
types needed for syscallargs.h. Yes, there's only one now, but that
may change and it's probably more likely to change if it'd be difficult
to handle. :-)

Per discussion with matt at n dot o, add an include of satypes.h to
sigtypes.h. Upcall handlers are kinda signal handlers, and signalling
is the header file that's already included for syscallargs.h that
closest matches SA.

This shaves about 3000 lines off of the diff of the branch relative
to the base. That also represents about 18% of the total before this
checkin.

I think this reduction is very good thing.
1.150.20.1 Sat May 10 23:48:44 UTC 2008 wrstuden Initial checkin of re-adding SA. Everything except kern_sa.c
compiles in GENERIC for i386. This is still a work-in-progress, but
this checkin covers most of the mechanical work (changing signalling
to be able to accomidate SA's process-wide signalling and re-adding
includes of sys/sa.h and savar.h). Subsequent changes will be much
more interesting.

Also, kern_sa.c has received partial cleanup. There's still more
to do, though.

Follow the merge of pmap.c on i386 and amd64 and move
pmap_init_tmp_pgtbl into arch/x86/x86/pmap.c. Modify the ACPI wakeup
code to restore CR4 before jumping back into kernel space as the large
page option might cover that.
