See the README and RELNOTES 5 files in the parent directory for directions on how to use these files. 6 7 calc_tickadj Calculates "optimal" value for tick given ntp.drift file 8 9 monitoring directory containing perl scripts useful for monitoring 10 operations 11 12 rc start/stop scripts for NTP 13 14 ntp-wait Blocks until ntpd is in state 4 (synchronized). 15 Useful at boot time, to delay the boot sequence 16 until after "ntpd -g" has set the time. 17 18 ntpsweep prints per host given in <file> the NTP stratum level, the 19 clock offset in seconds, the daemon version, the operating 20 system and the processor. 21 22 ntptrace Trace ntp peers of a server up to stratum 1. 23 24 stats directory containing awk and shell scripts useful for 25 maintaining statistics summaries of clockstats, loopstats 26 and peerstats files 27 28 summary Generate summary files out of stat files produced by NTP 29 daemon. 30 31 plot_summary Plot summaries generated by summary script. 32
