Adds (most) support for ARC platform to port-independent mips code. Some changes (e.g., clean up of overlapping CPU/FPU ids) inspired by comparison to the OpenBSD 2.1 codebase of Soda's ARC port. Open issues: * Still no support for r4600 or mipsIV CPUs with two-way L1 cache. Code derived from Per Fogelstrom's OpenBSD source doesn't work on mips3 pmaxes with L2 cache. * Still some port-specific #ifdefs, for interrupt enable and pmax L2 cache-size. They implement a space efficent write-once database with fast access path. Switch the services(5) database to use cdb. The size of the database file decreases from 2.1MB disk space to 307KB. Access performance is about the same if setservent(0) is used and about an order of magnitude faster otherwise. services_mkdb defaults to the new format, but can optionally create the old db(3) format as well for statically linked legacy applications. 1.88 Sun May 09 17:27:53 GMT 2004 kleink We now need an internal name for fileno(), since when buildling libc _REENTRANT we can no longer use the macro version from <stdio.h>. |
